MIMO was established in 2006 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

For the first two years, the company focused on MEP works at civil construction sites and small offshore energy sector projects ranging from repair and modification of drilling rigs, accommodation modules and land camps to the overhaul of cranes, winches and other rig machinery.

The Company continued to focus on Technical manpower services and  its efforts on the jackup rig refurbishment market, growing into one of the  leading technical manpower service company.

In 2009, MIMO combined its Technical manpower service expertise and new build offshore experience into the renewable energy sector with awards for the construction of self-propelled, self-elevating, dynamically positioned lift boats and wind farm installation vessels.

Today, with its head office in Sharjah and Sharjah Hamriya free zone and several bases of operation in the United Arab Emirates and middle east, MIMO has clearly established itself as one of the  leading provider of contracted technical manpower to  the oil and gas and renewables industry.
